Heather is originally from Maine. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in K - 12 Special Education. She taught 5 years in Pinellas County, before moving to Lutz, where she worked for a non-profit countywide agency teaching reading and life skills. During this time Heather experienced the excitement that comes with a child learning to read and building on that foundation.  She knew then that teaching children to read was her passion.
